Freescale Semiconductors is now NXP Semiconductors
Freescale Semiconductor, as an American semiconductor manufacturer, was created by the divestiture of the Semiconductor Products Sector of Motorola in 2004. Freescale focuses their integrated circuit products on the automotive, embedded and communications markets.
Freescale Semiconductor has been acquired by NXP Semiconductor. Freescale Semiconductor parts are now a part of the NXP family (Dec 2015).
